Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have a deep yearning to meet new people and see unfamiliar places. Couchsurfing is the perfect way to do both!

Interests

I'm voracious in life and thrive on learning and experiencing new things. I've attended 4 years at Burning Man, work in social impact, and am an amateur rope dartist/fire spinner. On weekends you can find me at the used book store or on the dance floor, those are my happy places.

Always down to try food, enjoy a cup of coffee every morning, and relax to live music with beer or wine.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'll read anything you put in front of me. I try to split my reading between fiction and nonfiction, but the stack of books on my nightstand tends to be more fiction than not. I also enjoy spoken word poetry and graphic novels.

In love with Neil Gaiman, Gabriel García Márquez, Christopher Moore, Cheryl Strayed, and Michael Chabon- just to name a few. I also listen to podcasts on science, technology, design, and pop culture.

My taste in music is eclectic and can range from indie to broadway, or jazz to punk rock and EDM. I like a little bit of everything. My love language is sharing songs, so if I send you something to listen to you know you're special to me.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hiking into a private beach to free dive for abalones in Mendocino, CA. I almost had a panic attack, pulled myself out of it, and returned home with a feast.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can make a great breakfast, am always willing to discuss current events, pop-culture, and technology, and can give beginner lessons in dance and flow toys.

I'm also pretty easy going and am generally happy to help out.
