About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Hi, I’ve been working from home and traveling around the US for the past year, living in different cities. I’m making one more big road trip from Nashville to California and will be stopping at national parks along the way and visiting friends and family. I would love to be able to meet some kind and interesting souls on this trip and stay with them whenever possible. I’m traveling with my sweet, well-behaved 10-year-old dog. I am fully vaccinated, and happy to comply with whatever safety precautions work for you! Let’s connect!

I also enjoy hosting surfers when my schedule allows, so if you ever find yourself in Sacramento in the future please reach out to me. If you’d like any tips on good hiking & backpacking trails or places to camp, just let me know. :)

ABOUT ME

I’m an active person and love living in Sacramento. I like to snowboard in the winter and backpack and camp on the coast in the summer. Sacramento is also a great starting point for taking day trips to San Francisco, Napa or Lake Tahoe.
I enjoy hiking/backpacking, camping, rock climbing/bouldering, yoga, cooking/baking, & taking road trips.
I'm fascinated by people. I studied sociology in school.

I have a very affectionate deaf cat that loves to play and snuggle and a very sweet German Shepherd mix.

If you are looking to stay with us, please read my profile and include something we have in common in your request :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

...was when I hiked to the sub-dome of Half Dome at night, slept at the base of the cables and then woke up and did the cables at sunrise before anyone else got there. Waking up to that view was the most breath taking experiences I've ever had.
Skydiving was incredible too!

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm a great adventure partner! I'm always down to do something outdoors like hiking or climbing, or explore urban areas. I love meeting new people (obviously) and I'm always up for a sociological debate.

If you'd like to stay with me, please tell me a little bit about yourself, your experiences with Couchsurfing and show me that you've read my profile.

What I Can Share with Hosts

A sociological perspective and a open mind. I'd love to cook you a meal or two! I can also teach you how to rock climb and tie proper knots. Or maybe we can do an impromptu yoga flow class together!

Canada, Costa Rica, Croatia, Denmark, England, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Japan, Liechtenstein, Mexico, Netherlands, Spain, Switzerland
