ABOUT ME

When I grow up I want to be a storyteller and a sailor, but I guess the two go together :)...because I am not grown up yet, I still have this childlike curiousity to see the world and learn about every culture and experience I do not want to just see it...From my travels I learned you can be a tourist and go and see a country, take a picture but not know it or feel it, or you can experience it by participating and making new friends and connections, and talking to people and befriending them. I want to feel every place I visit.

PHILOSOPHY

Try everything once.

If you're going to try, go all the way. Otherwise, don't even start. This could mean losing girlfriends, wives, relatives and maybe even your mind. It could mean not eating for three or four days. It could mean freezing on a park bench. It could mean jail. It could mean derision. It could mean mockery--isolation. Isolation is the gift. All the others are a test of your endurance, of how much you really want to do it. And, you'll do it, despite rejection and the worst odds. And it will be better than anything else you can imagine. If you're going to try, go all the way. There is no other feeling like that. You will be alone with the gods, and the nights will flame with fire. You will ride life straight to perfect laughter. It's the only good fight there is.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far I have only met the most inspiring people in the world, cause literally i've been traveling the world through couchsurfing...its a completely wonderful counterculture, and its not just something I can do once (obviously) and just walk away from, somehow I'll manage to intergrate it into my life forever
