Overview
About Me
Well, I grew up in the mountains so the mountains feel like home. I don't mind getting lost, I actually kind of prefer it. I'm an excellent planner but sometimes I like to just drop everything and run away to see what I can find. I am a free spirit.
I love cities and their energy but can only stand them for so long, i'm more of a hiking/ camping sort of gal. I am always looking to learn something new and enjoy sharing experiences with quality people. I prefer to see myself as a visitor, not a tourist.
I'm also a pretty great breakfast chef- cooking calms me.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
A very good friend of mine told me that couchsurfing is a good way to get a taste of local culture around the world, as well as meet people with similar interests (like traveling).
Interests
Various outdoor excursions; hiking, climbing, sailing, rafting, camping, etc. I also thoroughly enjoy food.

Music, Movies, and Books
BOOKS:
Life of Pi, Wild, Glass House, various others.
MUSIC:
Depends on my mood- i can get into anything. I especially love Tyler Lyle.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I saved a nest of unborn opossum babies from their mother who had been hit by a car, my father was not happy I skipped school for that.
Teach, Learn, Share
I've never really say down and thought about what I have to share- I think it depends on my company. I am a very philosophical thinker, a fairly good chef, and a master of random knowledge.
I believe I learn from everyone I meet; from their experiences and their knowledge. I'm fairly easy to please.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I make a great breakfast omelet and various other dishes that I would be happy to share. I might even teach you my grandma's oatmeal scotchie (cookie) recipe if we really hit it off.
