ABOUT ME

I am a 24 year old traveller from Canada. I am obsessed with whitewater kayaking, which has taken me to some pretty awesome places on this planet. It has also given me some amazing opportunities in life. I am an avid writer, finding inspiration in the people I have met on my journeys. I love to do yoga and go for runs, but I also love to have a drink or 2 at night and have some stimulation conversation.

PHILOSOPHY

I am trying to live in the moment and enjoy all that there is. I am so eager and excited to see the world and experience different walks of life. Travel is such an important experience and way of life. I believe that everyone is beautiful in their own ways, and I love to discover that in as many people as I can!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am new to couchsurfing but I hope to meet lots of people on my travels and experience where I am from locals. Also, I can't host anyone at the moment since I have no house, but am willing to meet up or give any tips for my surrounding area.

Books- I almost constantly have a book on the go. I wouldn't say I have a favorite book or even genre. Mostly, I will read something that somebody has recommended to me by a friend, teacher, family memeber, etc.

Music- indie rock, folk, alt rock, electronic
I play the piano and love to practice, and am just learning to play guitar.
Over the past few years, I have gone to quite a few music festivals. In the fall, I plan to attend Burning Man in the USA. I attended Kiwi Burn in New Zealand, which was life changing, and I can only have high hopes for the real deal!

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

A few years ago, I drove with a friend from Canada to Mexico in one fell swoop. It was 6500kms of driving, which we accomplished in 4 days. We adventured and kayaked in Mexico for 2 weeks, and then even made it back to Canada!!
