ABOUT ME

I am from a very small town in south-western ontario - it's rural but not too remote. However, I have always felt more at home on Canada's west coast. I love the mountains and the ocean! I have just spent a year abroad living in Europe - learnt french and discovered couchsurfing...I am now 'home' again. After a short stay in Ontario, I hoped on the train for Vancouver. It's great to be living on the west coast once again! - Well that didn't last long, I have now relocated 2400km north in Whitehorse...time to explore the North! And after a wonderful summer - I drove across Canada in a 20year old van, flew across the ocean and I landed in Edinburgh - a lovely city - where I have spent the past year studying how to make beer and whiskey! Time to update again - Im now in Toronto, brewing beer for a regional brewery and enjoying life back in my home province.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have been hosted by some awesome couch surfers in central Europe and in Ireland. We hosted many travellers at our place in Vancouver last winter/spring. Again I hosted quite a few travellers with my roommates in Whitehorse last summer.
