ABOUT ME

I love to give (and of course receive!) Reiki, sing, swim, dance, make art, hike, ride my bike, learn new languages, make music, be around friendly animals and people, eat icecream in the winter, jump into lakes and rivers naked even when it's maybe too cold, invent and consume new and interesting foods, to teach others what I know, to learn about the life all around me and within me. I hope to be a beacon of Light, Unconditional Love, Peace and Joy in our world. I aspire to one day become a Sustainable Organic Farmer, Medicine Woman and Reiki Master Teacher.

PHILOSOPHY

Love yourself and love others. Do your best to create happiness for all and to be accepting and tolerant. The first step to World Peace is Inner Peace.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have been blessed to have many beautiful experiences staying with and hosting others through couchsurfing, WWOOF, and independently. The kindness of strangers is never something to be underestimated. I highly support this project and think it's an amazing way to reach out to others and encourage inter-cultural interaction, communication, and understanding.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love all music. Anything that comes from the heart, that moves me to dance, anything peaceful and joyful. My favorites at this time are Kamal, Anugama, Grollo and Capitana, Matematics, John Lennon, Rusted Root, Simon and Garfunkel, Carlos Nakai, Great Lake Swimmers, SOJA, Two Cow Garage, Feist, Patti Smith, Off in the Woods and Patrick Wolf.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Knowing, learning, teaching and experiencing Reiki. Traveling astrally. Singing on the roof and stargazing with my friends, iceskating in the dark, dancing naked infront of a fire, swimming and playing in the ocean until I was sunburned and my skin dried from salt, summitting 3 mountain peaks in a day, climbing up Mt. Reynolds in Glacier Park, living, being, breathing...life never ceases to amaze me. <3

Teach, Learn, Share

I would love to share any information on Reiki or Crystal Healing. These are powerful tools that have transformed my life and part of my life path is to help others learn and understand these things. I also deeply enjoy giving Reiki Healing Sessions and am absolutely open to giving a session in exchange for a place to sleep. I love to sing and I'd be happy to share a song with you, or make art with you. I love to teach and I am very passionate about the things I love. Because I aspire to be a teacher, this is excellent practice for me and something I enjoy deeply. If you have a problem in your life that you are confused about or don't understand how to deal with, I'd be happy to help you see it in a new way and find a solution. I love to help and guide others, and to brighten the lives of all I encounter. If you are curious about any of the languages I know, I'd be glad to tutor you a little in any way I can or share my experiences abroad with you. I am an excellent interpreter of dreams and enjoy hearing about sleep dreams, day dreams and pipe dreams! I'm an artist and love to support the arts in any way. If you like, we may craft together - I could teach you to knit or crochet, or perhaps a new way to perceive and interpret the human form! I know a lot about wild and medicinal plants in the NW USA and am still learning much about healing herbs, but I'd love to share what I know. I also adore organic gardening and would love to help you with your plants or in your garden. I love to cook and would be happy to make you a meal or share a recipe with you. The possibilities are endless. It is up to you. :)
