Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Here I am to meet more felines XD

Staring at a cloud with light and shade passing by the ferry window while floating on Danube from Bratislava to Vienna, I recollected the cloud I saw while riding my bike on Chang’an Street at dusk one summer.

I realized how I resembled yet differed from it.

Worrying nothing more than the existence itself, I had never been as free as a cloud until I was finally away from where I was confined to.

The cloud is along the wind. I, however, am against it.

While roaming the world, I drew an analogy between a floating cloud and this wanderer with itchy feet. Nevertheless, instead of being blown by the wind, my cloud-like self spontaneously flowed apart from the mainstream and even dared to go against the wind. Motivated by irresistible curiosity about the unknown and a spirit of adventure, I challenged myself to dive into various cultural environments and communities, and stay open to communicate with like-minded and unlike-minded people. It's super fascinating and I always learn much more than what I could imagine!
