From Hong Kong. Went to Laos for volunteering and Denmark for exchange. That was how I started CS. I hosted people back in Laos when I had my own place and stayed with CS hosts while I was travelling in Europe.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I enjoy sharing experience!
I have been on couch surfing since last year, when I was in Laos. Yet, different from many others, my first role was not a couch surfer but a host. I stepped out from my comfort zone in Hong Kong and lived in Laos. It was my first time to live independently so I believed that it would be a great chance to host travellers and meet people from the world. Since then I am more active on CS and hope to make friends from different countries as I really enjoy cultural exchange.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I volunteered in the United Nations in Laos for 4 months. I never thought of working in UN, such a huge and complex organisation when I was only 20. I learnt a lot and it was definitely an unforgettable experience.

I travelled alone in Laos and Cambodia for the first time at 21. It may not sound so amazing to others, but it takes so much courage for a girl who lives in cities for long to do so!
