ABOUT ME

I will be participating in organic farming through WWOOF starting in March of 2012. I am so looking forward to this adventure and plan on being on the road for a good eight months. I'm hoping to learn a lot about sustainable living and to learn new things from new people on my way from farm to farm. Just looking for my place in this world.

I have a sailor's mouth, but I don't mean anything by it.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe positive thoughts bring positive events. It's so important to have a good sense of humor about things and realize that it takes all kinds to keep the world going 'round.

Books: The Little Prince, The Heart is a Lonely Hunter, One Hundred Years of Solitude, White Noise, Life of Pi, anything that can educate me and open my mind to new ideas. I like to read poetry aloud, but only when I'm alone.
I worked at a used bookstore for five years. I'm a total nerd for books.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Left home in my little red car to travel alone across the country and find my inspiration.

I have hiked Blackcomb and Whistler Mountains in BC, Canada. I have hiked many trails in the Ozarks of Missouri and Arkansas. Floated the Buffalo, Eleven Point, Northfork, and Current/Jack's Fork Rivers many times (I love this area of the U.S.!) I have snorkeled along the piers of Jupiter, FL and hiked in mystical Sedona, AZ.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you how to; make a friendship bracelet, make beans from scratch, what "weeds" in your backyard are edible and nutritious, some corny jokes.
I want to learn how to; ollie and how to play anything on the guitar.
