ABOUT ME
I love exploring the world. I'm curious, fun loving, easily excitable, and I love connecting with people.
I enjoy my work as a community manager, most of all because my colleagues are so much fun to be around. Outside of work I do swing dance, teach crochet, meditate, hang out with friends, and try to enjoy life as much as possible.
PHILOSOPHY
Don't panic
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
When I moved in with my former flatmate he asked if it was ok if we hosted couch surfers as he had been a long time surfer and host. I agreed and shortly after moving in we welcomed our first guests into our home and it was amazing! All at once there were 4 strangers in our flat and we all simply had a blast. We laughed, shared stories of traveling, compared our cultures, went clubbing, got absolutely wasted and bonded over a shared hangover.
It's been quite a few years since I started hosting and soon after experienced couchsurfing as a visitor. The helpfulness, kindness and generosity I've encountered was mind blowing. I never knew how much a small but meaningful gesture could make me smile for weeks :)

Music, Movies, and Books
Movies: anything by Wes Anderson, Woody Allen, or the Coen Brothers
Books: I'm madly in love with the novels by Douglas Adams. You've probably heard of his 'Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy' series, but I also highly recommend his Dirk Gently novels! This man was a genius and I learned so much from him.
I'm also a fan of the Sherlock Holmes stories and though I'm in my mid twenties I still love the children's stories of Roald Dahl and Dr. Seuss.
Music: my taste in music is pretty diverse. There are few genres of which I would say that I absolutely don't like them.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you the piano if you like. I have one in my room. I also have a ukulele but I haven't played since I was 8 years old. I would be thrilled if someone could teach me the ukulele again!
