ABOUT ME
I am an adventurous, head strong girl who loves food, friends, and new places. I speak my mind, but I'm not usually rude. I always try to repay generosity, and I truly believe in the goodness in people. I am laid back, go with the flow, and have a positive attitude. If someone is hurt or feeling down, I'll go out of my way to cheer them up. A little kindness goes a long way, and an open heart can change the world!
PHILOSOPHY
We live, and then we die. No one knows 100% what happens next, so I'm going to live like there is no tomorrow.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
If I have a couch, it's a opportunity to share it with someone who needs it. I've stayed on the couches of countless people, and offered mine to countless more.
Interests
I enjoy reading, traveling, conversation, walking, dreaming, sleeping, eating, cooking, dancing, surfing the internet. I'm a bit of an intellectual, but I really enjoy the simple things in life. My favorite kinds of music are dance, house, techno, rave, alternative, dubstep, celtic, jpop, and opera. I am a massage therapist, and my favorite modalities are hot stone massage and neuromuscular massage. I like martial arts, particularly judo and kendo. I also like to draw, go exploring, and I am an amateur photographer.

Music, Movies, and Books
Too many to name, no really, I read my middle school library entirely out of fantasy novels... nevermind the other genres!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Sailing off the coast of Japan, out to Miyajima (an island), at sunrise. The sun reflected off the water around the island and it's ancient tower, giant tori (red temple arches), covered bridges, and sandy beaches. It was truly breathtaking!
Going scuba diving off the coast of Mexico, swimming slowly to the bottom of the water, and seeing the underwater wreckage of a sunken boat, and the sand, sea shells, and fish underwater was so amazing! It was very scary at first, I could feel the pressure, but then I forgot my fear.
I climbed Mt Aso in Kakohigashi, Japan, which is a live volcano! Then Mt Tsurumi in Oita, to get to a natural hot spring. It was a very long climb, and I had to take it easy, but it was very worth it! The spring was hot and steamy up on the mountain side, and the view over the skyline was amazing!
