Hello there! This profile is made by me, Kajsa Wahl, and my boyfriend, Erik Smedberg. It will hopefully help you to get to know the two of us a bit, but there is a lot more to discover, so it would be great to meet you in person!

Kajsa: I am a happy girl who loves to live, to laugh and to go on adventures. I have an easygoing and positive look on life. I have been growing up as the youngest of five siblings and therefore I love to have people around me most of the time. I am a social person who likes to hang out with people I know, but also to get to know new people! When I have a free day I love to dance or to go out hiking in the forest, sleeping outdoor or just having a night at home, watching a movie or baking or something like that.

Erik: I am a pretty philosophical person who enjoys debating and discussing all sorts of stuff but I am also creative and quite crazy. I enjoy getting to know different people, their stories, how they got to where they are, what keeps them going forward. Ye, that sorta thing. I also adore spending time in the wilderness. The open sky, beside a fire and some mates to enjoy the adventure with, that is home to me.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We are on couchsurfing because it's the best thing. We were on a backpack through Europe a couple of years ago and just lived on peoples couches via couchsurfing, and we had the best time. So many lovely people we never would have met if it wasn't for couchsurfing. So now, when we have our own apartment in Gothenburg, we would love to open it up for other people in the same way people did for us.

Interests

Kajsa: I enjoy dancing, to listen when people tell their stories, playing boardgames, playing discgolf, baking, reading and I totally love spending time in the forest. I am also working as a teacher of mathematics, and I really enjoy the subject.

Erik: I like and have practiced multiple sports. Everything from football to discgolf. Currently I climb quite a lot. I also have a pretty siceable interest in movies. Just like I mentioned before I also love spending time in the forest.

Erik:

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Kajsa: Some years ago I went to the bush in Zambia and helped with the start of building a school in the village of Chitaba. That was pretty amazing.

Erik: I once walked 340 kilometers through Sweden with two guys and a tent. That was a pretty awesome experience.

Teach, Learn, Share
