About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Collect good and bad experience... and get stronger physically and mentally
ABOUT ME
Big eyes, big hair, big smile :-D
(sounds like from the fairy tale about Red Riding Hood, doesn't it:-))
I like making international friends (it is a part and parcel of my field of studies at university after all, hehe). I'm very open-minded (like 97,6% people on this website), approachable, active and restless when I'm not active enough. Little instant explosion of energy :-)
And finally I like making people around me laughing even though it's often me who is the target :-D Laughter is definitely the best sound a man can make!
It would be a pity not to mention something "I-am-not-that-perfect" stuff, wouldn't it?
I am a real "early bird catching worms", not exaggerating... Whenever I cook something brand-new it takes me hours before I eat it as I must take a photo of it... and as my hosts can confirm, my little travelling Sheeep must be in every picture too, she's a bit egoistic:-) I lack "green fingers" (poor Hokidachi, my first bonsai)... I cannot stand shrieking babies in public transport... and suppose that many people are fed up with my handbag full of jingle bells, jingle bells, jingling all the way...
Ok, the first-aid travelling kit is also a bit strange...
Yes, and I enjoy making strange sounds. I'll let you hear, don't worry.
PHILOSOPHY
I really love challenges, so I'm a proud follower of: "Let's try everything (except for the salty liquorice)!"
And: "When you can stuff there X, you can stuff there X+1." (Try, always works.)
And the last one: "If you cannot do it by using force, do it by using more force."
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I take part in Brno couchsurfing meetings and events connected with them - playing volleyball, drinking, chatting, dancing... but I'd like to participate more, f.e. show arriving travelers beauties of Brno.
So far I´ve been surfing couches, sofas, beds, floors, sleeping bags, gardens, beaches, rocks and volcanoes in Italy. Beautiful experience :-)
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
In summer 2012 I spent two weeks in norther Italy and three weeks in Toscana and Emilia Romagna, met amazing hosts and came back to Brno with hundreds pictures, thousands experiences and two bags of chestnut flour! Despite some complications (being eaten by mosquitos; losing my lovely bracelet; losing my lovely sunglasses; losing my voice; losing myself in heavy rain at night in Modena; wake-up in a totally unknown part of Milano; hiding 15 min at the train toilet on my way to Livorno; ...), thanks to couchsurfing me and my Sheeep had the best time in our lives - and we don't exaggerate!!
And in summer 2013 I did it! (Err... WE did it) We spent over 2 months in southern Italy with CS - definitely a challenging trip that produced hundreds of stories. The same happened last summer, again two months in Italy.
Now, after quitting quite a stressful job, we are going to hit the road again. We are going to explore some European countries and see what we have always wanted to see: Meteora, Olympos, Barcelona, Valencia, Amsterodam, Porto, Edinborough, Dublin, Mostar... authentic syrtaki, baclava, flamenco, drunk Spaniards, paella, Temple bar, drunk Irish...
Fingers crossed! :-)

Music, Movies, and Books
I guess nobody will bother to read this column... anyway, here you are:
Music: Oliver Shanti, Irish, Chinese and Japanese (instrumental), Jazz dance music, Latino dance music (Reggaeton!!!), Electro swing, Music filled with energy.
My flute ladies are going with me anywhere, ready to play whatever and whenever asked!
Movies: Generally UNUSUAL. (Please, not Mission impossible or Zorro, I've already grown up. However I can play the main theme with my flute ladies!)
I appreciated: The Pianist, The Untouchable, The Invisible children, Die Welle, series about Mr. Monk, How I met your mother, Big Bang theory, The Simpsons... Lego movie! :-D Oh, I admit I love Naruto and Ranma.
Books: Harry Potter (I can't help... I grew up with him, trying hard to make things levitate with a handmade wand - and gave up at the age of 20 after being brainwashed at university), anything by Roald Dahl, The education of Hyman Kaplan, Textbook of l'italiano and espagnol for self-students :-)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've survived my first ferrata in Slovenia, done without any experience and equipment, only with encouragement from friends.
I cooked a vegan wedding cake for a friend of mine - without eggs and butter! Fancy that!
I experimented a bit - never combine pasta, anchovy, garlic, chilli, parmigiano and dark chocolate, NEVER!!!
Once I was chasing a peacock on my bike with an honest intention to take a picture of it - at that moment I learnt that even this plumpish bird can fly :-P
Uhm... one amazing thing I have seen - a waiter in Roma singing to me in the street: "Love me, tender" I´m a simple person, for me this was amazing as he was over sixty and still charming:-D
Often the strenghth of friendship, love or somebody's will amazes me.
Sleeping on Lady Etna.
Seeing eruption of Stromboli and the Alps... from the above. (Well... seeing anything from the above! My first flight.)
Seeing eruptions of Lady Etna and the flow of lava at midnight after climbing 1000 m and getting frozen.
Thesis on North Korean propaganda. My life will never be the same.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you what living in Brno and the Czech Republic is like (and what is better to avoid here).
I can teach you how to combine Japanese and Italian cuisine and make healthy and pretty edible meal at the same time (sounds scary, I know).
I can give you a relaxing massage called "tiger's paws" (without claws, of course), kitty's paws (clawless too) and "tourist in Siracusa" (my invention).
Uhm... if you play some instrument, we can jam.
And I can (temporarily) tattoo your body!
I'd like to learn whatever you will be willing to teach me - from your language/dialect (no matter which, I am fascinated by any) to your lifestyle or life expericence(s).
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share stories, a meal, an ice-cream, music... probably also my clothes but it's not gonna be comfortable, I have strange proportions and odd taste in clothes :-)
And my beautiful Sheeep, of course!!!
