Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Always different. Smuggling grammar into the classroom. Sewing clothes for children other than pink and blue. Finding new books and music and passing them on. Discovernig new recipies and feeding people.
ABOUT ME
Apart from traveling, which is obvious, I like good literature and films. Indulging in good food and red wine with my friends is my idea of a nice, relaxing evening. I don't like loud places, which doesn't mean I wouldn't go to a good concert or a disco from time to time - I love dancing! I'm also keen on art and whenever I travel I like to start my explorations from a museum. Though I live in a city, I love nature, I feel great in all these desolate places where one can smell the earth and spot some wild animals.
PHILOSOPHY
Do your best in what you like, don't strain yourself in what you'd rather didn't do. And live in harmony with the surrounding world. Collect your dreams.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
As I can. Sometimes I'm very busy, but whenever I can I'm willing to host anyone, go for a coffee or give a tour of the city.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I started in a bit unusual way - I wasn't a member of CS but learned about it while traveling in Mexico and was hosted by two amazing people. I joined CS as soon as I came back from my holiday.
Interests
Books, films, art, fashion, meditation. I like sewing, studying languages when time allows, drawing - if doodles fit in that category.

Music, Movies, and Books
Plenty. But the most memorable book, probably, "Bless me Ultima" by R. Anaya. It was a starting point in my exploration of Chicano writers that I adore. "Kitchen" by Banana Yoshimoto. "Great Expectations" - Dickens, "Days of Awe" - Achy Obejas, "En el tiempo de las mariposas" - Julia Alvarez. I like literature that explores the immigrant's point of view and biographies.
Movies: "Blue" by Derek Jarman. "Down by Law", "Coffe and Cigarettes" - J. Jarmush, "Cinema Paradiso" by Giuseppe Tornatore, "Burnt by the Sun" - N. Michalkow, documentaries by such Polish film directors as Karabasz and Kieślowski. And many more...
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Holding a pufferfish was amazing!
Teach, Learn, Share
Well, all I can teach in such a short time that hosting allows is how to cook some Polish dishes, perhaps a few Polish words.
