About Me
Hello! 🙋🏻♀️ I'm Kaki from Hong Kong. I am an open-minded person who loves to travel and experience different lifestyles, listen to people's stories, learn new skills, and see things from different perspectives. I started as a budget backpacker in 2013 and currently work and live in Hong Kong.
I enjoy exchanging ideas and having meaningful conversations with new friends. It's like reading a book that brings me fresh insights, and I truly value the quality time spent together. Despite limited space in Hong Kong, I also find joy in hosting travelers who visit my home, Hong Kong🇭🇰
KAKI's PHILOSOPHY:
1) When I travel with an open heart, unexpected goodness happens!
2) The most beautiful scenery during travel is “people”. 旅行中最美的景色就是人了。
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
The meet-ups always amaze me with new experiences! I get to know the local life and make good friends, some of whom become lifelong friends from different countries. It's wonderful that we can visit each other again! I absolutely love it! 🤍 The different insights gained from these experiences also contribute to my personal growth and help me become a better version of myself!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
📍 15 months of travel in Europe: I mainly lived in Munich and Hannover in Germany. I experienced various types of jobs and first tried Couchsurfing (CS) and love it! This journey has changed my perspective on my future living style. It drove me to pursue for the way of living I want.
📍Traveling in Tibet: I climbed up to an old castle and enjoyed the panoramic view of a small town. The sky felt close, surrounded by nature. I became aware of the power of nature and the importance of appreciating it.
📍I randomly volunteered at a Harikrishna Temple located in the German Bayan Forest for 2 weeks. I had the opportunity to attend their lectures and engage in discussions with devotees. Volunteer travel with "Workaway" never fails to surprise me. I have learned new skills, had unexpected experiences, and made lifelong friends.
