About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Quit my job and overland to the world! Enjoy a special life during young!

ABOUT ME

It's quite difficult to tell who I am..... I believe I have different faces towards different kinds of people. I could be noisy but quiet. I could be optimistic but pessimistic. I could be outgoing or introverted. But I would say that generally I am a cheerful and happy gal, love dreaming and laughing. And of coz travelling is my favourite and becomes the most significant part of my life! Once I started my backpacking trips since 2011, I definitely addicted to it. That feeling grows over time.

Traveling with freedom and friendship is what I wanna do most . Meeting people in an unfamiliar place is what I wanna experience to understand more about the place. It is definitely an important lesson to learn, not only the wonderful sightseeing place written on the guidebook, but also the experience of cultural exchange and ideas sharing.

PHILOSOPHY

Life is complicated but easy. Every small issue would definitely affect the next in the future. No matter it is something really bad or poor or frustrating happening now, the better is coming. Just follow your heart to live. Life is short. We dunno when our lives end and what I'll become in the next moment. That's why just enjoy our own lives. Every life is unique and everyone is a movie. Just create my own life, do what I want. Live Life No Rules!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Actually I know Couchsurfing from a book, talking someone traveled all over the world without spending one dollar in a bed. That's what I want to do and I signed up this account.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Because of some problems with my family, I couldn't accept people surfing my place right now. But I hanged out with some nice visitors and showed them around Hong Kong. Also, I did some CS during my journey outside Hong Kong. All these experiences were really amazing and memorable! :)

Interests

Ummmmmm...It's quite hard for me to recall all of my interests.....But probably following is some of them! :)

Traveling - Of course I love traveling! (I dun think anyone here dun like traveling~)

Music - Started learning classical music and piano when I was small. I love music, any kinds of music. And I started learning to play the ukulele! Maybe one day we can jam a song~~

Wandering - Walking around one city in a random way, no maps, no GPS, no directions. Getting lost? So what! Because surely I can explore some new stuff and have some cool experience!

Dreaming - I can sit all day long next to the sea, in a park or even in a balcony! Thinking of what I was, I am and dreaming what I will be.....

Silly things - I love to do what I wanna do even though all other nearby people look down upon me. Turning round in the middle of the street, keep laughing until I am short of breathe.

DIY - I love all kinds of DIY, cloth works, leather works, cooking, etc. I enjoy the moment I concentrated into one things, spending hours to making it perfect with only simple and cheap materials.

My adventurous soul become stronger and stronger these days. I'm willing to do anything to fulfill it!

Music, Movies, and Books

Music - Nearly all kinds of music, no specific types, but especially jazz, blues and bossa nova.

Movies - I don't really enjoy watching movies. Sometimes when I was watching some boring movies, I just fell asleep and felt it's a waste of time....-3- But I am sure some movies interested me, like The Pianist, Before Sunrise.

Books - When I was in school, I quite hate reading. But after ages, I feel like I started to enjoy this habit! Now I am reading a book called "The Bathing Woman", which is really a good book!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The amazing things usually happened during trips...

2011 - That's my first trip which is in Yunnan, China. Living there slowly slowly is really enjoyable. And due to this trip, I definitely addicted to traveling..=]

2012 - This was my first personal trip! Taking night bus alone, living in dorms, making new cool friends...All these experiences impacted me a lot. This trip absolutely changed my view and the ways of my journey hereafter.

2013 - This is the year I travelled a lot. I witnessed the Crucifixion ceremony in Philippines. I overland from Hong Kong to Moscow by trains and buses, spending altogether 240 hours in 3 weeks time. I dived in Sabah and the feeling of being in touch with the little fishes were amazing. I took nights of hard-seater trains in China to Harbin and tasted the really cold weather and feel the thick white snow!

2014-2015 - This is a year for changing. I quit my job and started a year-long journey. Wandering in quite some countries, attending a wedding party in Uzbekistan, viewing a flaming burning gas crater in Turkmenistan, experiencing the hospitality in Iran, walking with a little bit scare on the street in Afghanistan, taking a 42 hours crazy third-class train in Tanzania, joining the Timket festival activities in Ethiopia, having a look in those incredible Phoroh ruins in Egypt....etc.....

And stories would be continued.......

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you Cantonese and Mandarin! Let's start from learning the bad words! XD
