CURRENT MISSION

ABOUT ME
I graduated from university, where i studied culture studies with a focus in antrophology. I'm a fresh culture manager working in an Institute for Performing Arts in Warsaw and a freelance translator from Russian. Besides, i'm an activist involved in a Warsaw feminist movement, very much interested into theory and practice of social movements, different aspects of globalisation, culture-related stuff.
I practice contact improvisation which gives me a great pleasure.
I love to be in a move - both in body and in mind.
Friends are extremely important for me. Acting together - whether we are just hanging out or we are writing a theater play together or travelling is always what just MAKE SENSE to me.
PHILOSOPHY
I never take organized trips...
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I hosted several travellers from different corners of the globe and i was a guest in many great houses. No matter, if i'm a host or a guest, I show INTEREST, CARE AND RESPECT. Because when i'm a guest, i like to feel welcome, it's important for me as a host to share my time, to make my guest feel comfortable, to give her/him any support, but not to overwhelm them.
I really enjoy showing around - I can take you to the nicest cafes and bars in the city, art galleries and give a tour in Praga - a neighborhood with a very special ambience of old Warsaw.
Here some nice websites for the lost ones:
http://unlike.net/warsaw - a very good one! a city guide giving you lots of insider tips. the website is well-structured and clear.
http://artmuseum.pl/en?langset=true - WARSAW MOMA ! a great filmoteka online!
to be continued :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
i slept on a roof in Brooklyn. a windy night, silence disturbed only by some religious speech on a spanish radio. i don't know who my god is, but i started to pray. it felt like a film with very little action but a big tension.
