About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To live and enjoy life :)

ABOUT ME

I'm a fun and energetic person, happy to meet new people. I am also a neat freak, which is a feature when I travel and a torture when I come back home :)
I dance.

PHILOSOPHY

Reality is nothing, your attitude is everything.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I would like to share my couch with travelers like me - who want to see the locations from the inside view, and not like a tourist.
Sometimes I travel myself, and will choose CS over a hotel any day :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've surfed couches in Spain, Netherlands, Germany, Belgium, Estonia, Sweden and Finland. I've hosted several people myself. This works like a charm, surprising me again and again

Interests

I am not a common traveler, I do like getting away from home sometimes, but I am not into "SEING ALL THE WORLD". I mostly travel randomly, sometimes to see a specific museum, or some architecture. Usually I visit friends and family. My interests include contemporary art, local art, local nightlife and weird food.
I am also a heavy internet addict. I have an intimate relationship with my iPhone :)

Every place I go I will do my best to follow a small checklist:
1. Visit a modern art museum
2. Meet someone new
3. Walk at least 10 miles (not always in one day)
4. Buy something unrecognizable in a supermarket and try to eat it
5. Visit a park
6. Go to a tango milonga

Music, Movies, and Books

This is complicated, I'd have to change it every day!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

There is a strange quality to a conversation of two people for whom English is not the first language. These conversations tend to go much deeper than any other conversation, simply because you cannot give yourself the chance to get lost in words. It is the closest thing to looking each other in the eye and just feeling.
