ABOUT ME

I'm a young at heart, somewhat unconventional woman
who loves to play, dance, meditate, do yoga, go hiking,
swimming, bikeriding. I enjoy nature, the quiet life and personal conversations.
I have lived abroad, travelled and moved around quite a bit. I love places with different cultures and
different life styles. I'm very curious and always open
to learning about others. I already feel like a global
citizen.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I heard about "couchsurfing" from my 23 year old nephew. At first I was very sceptical, but tried it in
New Zealand, and was pleasantly surprised. I didn't
want to just stay in hotels and hostels with other
europeans, but wanted to connect with locals in a
personal way.

Music, Movies, and Books

Often there is too much noise everywhere. So sometimes
I just like silence. I do listen to music in my car;
classic rock, new age, pop, classical music. I can't
stand rap.
I like movies with a good story, sometimes a romantic
comedy or a captivating thriller.

Teach, Learn, Share

I like the concept of "couchsurfing" because I believe
this is one way of contributing to world peace by
bringing people of different nationalities together,
learning from one another and recognizing what we
have in common rather than what separates us. Hopefully
one day we will be one world, one people.
