About Me
ABOUT ME
I am a female in my twenties. On the surface, I may be a typical working adult being tied down by responsibilities and having conformed to societal norms, but I have always been and will be an adventurer-at-heart and social butterfly, awaiting every opportunity to fly out of my cocoon. Weeeeeeeeeee~!
Life has been getting more comfortable, in fact too comfortable and mundane, and I look forward to experiencing everything new. Cultures, food, events, lifestyles, architectures, interactions with people from all walks of life.
Borrowing a line from those hipsters, "You only live once", I do want to make the best out of my life as the world has so much to offer.
PHILOSOPHY
One should not neglect the present and end up regretting in the future. Years down the road, I'd rather be regretting the stupid things that I would have done then having to regret having done nothing at all. Life is too short to wait.
"The only thing standing between you and your dreams is reluctance." - Carroll Bryant
I travel not to escape life, but for life not to escape me.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Have yet to participate but I will be travelling with two friends who have tried couchsurfing and highly recommended it.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
None at the moment.
But when I do, I would like to see the country through the host's eyes if they happen to have the free time to take me to places and take part in activities they find beautiful or meaningful.
Interests
Sports that come in any form, cooking and baking, music, Korea and Japan's culture (especially Korean soap operas/Japan fashion), and definitely traveling.

Music, Movies, and Books
I am a hopeless romantic, so... A Walk to Remember, Twilight, Titanic (the classic one), Dirty Dancing.
I enjoy K-pop mainly because I am a fan of CN Blue's Yonghwa. Genre wise, I listen to soothing R&B love songs.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
My niece, Chevonne, a five-month-old baby is the most amazing thing I've seen most recently!
Teach, Learn, Share
As a guide, what I have to offer is limited to what my home country has to offer as a Singaporean.
As a fellow coachsurfer friend, I make a good student and teacher when in comes to foreign languages, and a pleasant chatterbox/listening ear when talking about life under the stars.
