About Me

Filmmaker (writer/director, editor, script supervisor). I have two cats home in Seattle. I love to goof around, read, run, eat fresh/organic/healthy/awesome food, watch arthouse films in theaters, and explore cities and nature. Excited to get to know new people!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm traveling to Spain, France, and Sweden in February 2019. I'm staying with friends in Spain and Sweden, but I'm hoping to find hosts I could stay with and possibly grab food with one night in Clermont-Ferrand where I'm attending a short film festival, and in Paris.

Interests

Film, yummy food, interesting conversations, page turners, collage, creativity

Music, Movies, and Books

Music
Indie/Alternative lowkey jams (i.e. Unkown Mortal Orchestra, Sam Evian, Broadcast)
Rock/70s rock and 70s folk rock in particular
Hip hop and R&B (The Internet, Drake, Rihanna, Stevie Wonder)
French house/synthwave (i.e. Kavinsky)

Movies
Run Lola Run, Amorres Perros, The Dark Knight, Jackie Brown

On a broader note, I love anything made by these directors: David Lynch, Martin Scorcese, Quentin Tarantino, Darren Arronofsky, Dennis Villeneuve, Jean Luc Godard, David Fincher, and Christopher Guest

Books
Mostly read screenplays and books on writing screenplays, but also love fiction

Currently reading: White Teeth by Zadie Smith, In Cold Blood by Truman Capote, Dark Tower series by Stephen King
Anything by Miranda July, love her short story collection "No One Belongs Here More Than You"
Vonnegut, I've only read Player Piano and Mother Night
Chuck Palahniuk (Rant, Choke)
Graphic novels

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Wrote, directed, produced, and edited a 15-minute trailer park drama short film.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I would love to share great American and foreign films I know with someone who loves cinema. Also, feelmy ability to be open, honest, and unfiltered with everyone I meet is unique. Would love to share lots of smiles and laughs!
