My name is Kalena Leone, which translates to flower (hawaiian) lion (french.) It's pretty accurate. I'm a very soft, sensitive, and empathatic person; but I'm also loud, extroverted, and interesting!
I grew up in the states and traveled to Europe a year ago. I'm trying to travel more around America!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I find travel so much more rewarding staying in households rather than hostels or hotels! I really get to see how people live where I travel. It's the best feeling to be welcomed and belong.

Interests

I am such an easy person to please!
I love to have chill days; wrapped in a blanket with a cup of tea, reading my heart's content.
I love exploring so much. Whether it's a museum, a forest, or simply taking to the streets in the heart of a city!
I also LOVE MUSIC and ANIMALS
Those are my two passions. I love to sing and dance. I've always wanted to pursue my own creation, but I'm still working on it! I want to be with animals for the rest of my life. I have two cats at home awaiting my return that I miss dearly!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've helped numerous people see the reality at which their emotions matter. I'm so proud of the empathy and sensitivity I carry with me every day. I'm learning not to let it overwhelm me.

Teach, Learn, Share

I feel like this trip to Europe has all been a learning experience for me. Coming from one place and speaking one language doesn't mean I can teach much on that. I can teach a lot about empathy and emotions. I love to talk with people about anything and everything, even difficult subjects. I'm very good at that.
