About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To figure out what makes me happy, and then never stop doing it.
ABOUT ME
I'm a 24-year-old woman living in New Orleans, LA, with more dreams than I can count and more ambition than I know what to do with!
I love to laugh and I tell a lot of jokes; my sense of humor is pretty dry and seriously sarcastic, which makes people love me or hate me. I love music and art and have always had a deep appreciation for artistic endeavors of every kind. I love to go out and enjoy live music, peruse art fairs, and experience as much as I can hold--come to New Orleans and I'll take you with me!
I have a serious case of wanderlust that keeps me on the road, or at the very least dreaming of traveling. I am adventurous, spontaneous, fun-loving, and bold, and I love playing hostess in this serendipitous, skanky little city of mine!
So come visit me soon.
PHILOSOPHY
Live and let live. Love and let love.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've played tour guide to some great people who have come to New Orleans during their travels. I like to show them the staples--Café du Monde, Bourbon Street, Jackson Square--but also little special things that speak to me as a person who actually lives in this spectacular, quirky, devastatingly beautiful city.
Interests
I like to play guitar and enjoy live music. I love going out for drinks and appetizers with intimate groups of friends and coworkers. I read a lot of book and can always be found in a sun-drenched corner of my apartment or a cozy café, devouring other people's words and creating other worlds. I

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I moved to France immediately after graduating college. After having lived in dorms for 4 years and with my parents for the rest of my life before college, I was finally responsible for rent and bills...and it was all in a foreign language! That was a huge opportunity for growth for me, and I like to think I'm still synthesizing the changes that wrought in me. After all, change is a lifetime undertaking.
Teach, Learn, Share
Today I walked around my town taking pictures and announcing out loud to myself the things I love. "I love taking pictures. I love to dance. I love pickles." Sometimes, I've learned, you just have to remind yourself out loud who YOU are before you can continue to be you.
