One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

*This

Teach, Learn, Share

Here I will share places that I like in Sofia, cause a lot of people are asking for recommendations (((:
Make the Sofia Free Tour, for sure! Amazing opportunity for foreigners to learn more about our capital city and the historical heritage of the whole country (:
As for coffee shops and places for chiling - Veda House is my personal favourite! It is both a tea house and a vegeterian restaurant in the Indian tradition. Another cool place is Apartamenta, but it is kind a touristic trap, though they have amazing Chai tea! Fabrika Dyga is more of a coffee shop. Karkason - a club for social games (and they have some in english). Tea house in the factory is also a vegeterian restaurant and a tea shop, but it is quite unique for the jazz nights that they make. Really good quality music in very cosy athmosphere.
Bars and clubs are not my speciality, but typically I will go with friends to Gaba Bar, Atelieto (both are very autentic, good selection of music and life sometimes), Sofia Live club (it is the best for good quality music concerts, best check the programme first), Roderic (more for gatherings for a beer), Kanaal (craft beers bar), Maze (again for concerts, but more closed circle - they make a lot of fusion and bulgarian progressive bands), the bar in Art Hostel ( it is trashy, but sometimes there is also good acoustic music and it is for free).
Of course, if you have time go for hiking in the Vitosha mountain! We have nice parks - during the day, they are used for a walks and chilling, and as you will see, in the night - people are drinking and gathering there. Most typical ones are the park of the National teather, Kristal garden, the garden of Sveti Sedmochislenitsi Church.
For sure, I am missing some places, which are nice, but there should be space for your own exploration (: Sofia can offer an advanture, always keep this in mind when you browse around!

What I Can Share with Hosts

There are many things here that can be very impressive but they have to be introduced properly in order to be understood and enjoyed ...and I think I can provide that. Bulgaria as every other balkan country has its own kind of wierd charm. Its quite interesting to see how the East and the West meet and collide here. So this is what I can share - the experience of being in that typical mixture of
materialism and spirituality.
