ABOUT ME

I am a German journalist working for radio, newspapers and a news agency. I am based in Cotonou/Benin. In general, I am in Nigeria once a month (I can't host in there!) and travel a lot myself to other countries in Western Africa. I very much enjoy meeting people from different countries, share their ideas of life, cook and eat together and discuss.
Besides I am very much into horse-riding (I am a trainer as well) and spend a lot of my free-time at our horse club in Cotonou. I also do yoga and go running several times a week.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I enjoy couchsurfing (surfing and hosting) a lot. So far I've been meeting lots of interesting people - some of them became good friends. For me it is a great possibility of visiting different homes, getting in touch with people and sharing ideas.

Centres d'intérêt

Meeting people, spending time with friends, enjoying good coffee and good food (I love cooking for other people but also for myself), doing yoga and running. I like to discover nice cafés and restaurants (especially when I am travelling), new books, new authors. I've done horse-riding all my life what makes it very special to me.

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

Not really into music, movies once in a while (Aki Kaurismäki for example, art-house films in general) but addicted to detective stories (especially those from Northern Europe) and always searching for novels written by young African authors.
