Overview
About Me
I'm Wilhelm, a Swede currently living in the concrete jungle of Germany. Here I live with my Julia and our daughter Lima.
Nature conservation and nature photography are what I am living for. Nothing beats the feeling of nature, camping on a mountain, in a desert or a forest makes me happy. To see animals and plants thrills me. It is for me the most important thing in life and I made my choice of studies thereafter.
I would describe myself as an easy going person, talkative and happy. I like sports, such as running or bouldering. I also enjoy living with other people, as it makes it easier to live in the moment and not in the phone. Talking, discussing and enjoying the company of others is one of the great things in life. Food is also important, and I enjoy to cook vegetarian food.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I started on Couchsurfing to get to know new people in my student town Uppsala.

Music, Movies, and Books
The hitchhikers guide to the galaxy was a favourite as a teenage boy and I still like it. Life of PI is another great book.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I was working with wild orangutans on Borneo for five months. I have also climbed kilimanjaro, survived falling down a waterfall and been the first person ever to photograph a grey-faced sengi with a hand held camera.
