Hi,
I'm Kalle originally from the beautiful city of Lübeck near the baltic sea.
I live in Kiel for a few years now and besides my master studies, I work as a research assistent in a chemistry lab at my university.

I consider myself as a calm, harmonic person, that's ready for conversations about every topic that comes up. I try to be nice to everyone. Obviously nobody can be an expert on everything, so I'm open to learn from those who are or at least feel like they are (wasn't it Dunning Kruger :D), to deepen my understanding of things and build my own opinion. I love to talk to people about the things they're interested in.

I guess my friends would say I'm an open, friendly and quite funny guy, which is able to listen.
If not in the lab I try to keep a sport and meditation routine, but turns out I'm bad with that. For calm evenings I enjoy watching a good movie, documentary or play some games together.
Regularly I meet with friends in a local pub, that's kinda my thing, so I'm very excited to see some pubs around the world.

But I mean ultimately I could write anything here, so perhaps you make yourself a picture of me by the reviews of the lovely people I was able to meet on CS.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Well, I think it's the best way to travel, because you get to know some real local people, so it is a totally different, more intense experience so to say. Perhaps even find new friends :)
