ABOUT ME

I'm a freelance illustrator from Groningen. Besides drawing I like music a lot, listening and playing as well. I play together with my best friends in several bands, moreover i like having conversations and to hang around with friends.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I mainly participate in couchsurfing by surfing, because in my current situation, it's quite difficult to host other people at my place.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

This Summer I traveled by train with a good friend of mine. We bought an interrail ticket and we went to Sweden first where we mainly slept at campsites. The second part of our vacation was a city-trip, beginning in Stockholm and from there we traveled by train through various cities to Budapest, where we went to the Sziget festival. During the city trip thing we used couchsurfing, which was a very nice experience!

Interests

I'm interested in arts, music, politics, philosophy and soccer. I both like visiting cities and to go into nature.

I like a variety of indie bands and alternative musicians such as Wild Nothing, Real Estate, Modest Mouse, dEUS, Pavement, DIIV, the Notwist, Radiohead and the Smiths.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

an 8-day travel to Rome including a flight back to Amsterdam to play a gig and a flight back to Rome afterwards.
