About Me
Integrating... Giving up on some of my old dreams... A country house with a large garden... well... later perhaps... Now I work in the heavy industry during the day, and take care of my chickens at night... well something like it...
Spending a few months in the Dominican Republic teaching kids how to read and write, while at the same time sweating in the sugar cane fields really does help when one is trying to escape one's thoughts. I can't really stay in just one place - I always have to move. A few months here, half a year there... My soul is restless...
"Society, I hope you're not lonely without me"
Well, I got tired of living the modern life, tired of studying things I don't need to study, working with things that don't really need to exist. Tired of just trying to get money so I can buy more things.
I got tired of society. So I went WWOOF-ing in Catalonia and Slovenia to learn how to work on farms, and how to make myself more independent, not relying too much on others to provide me with things.
I asked myself: What is more revolutionary? To learn how to use a gun, or to learn how to produce food?
The answer was pretty obvious, thus I'm a farmer. But then I learned both.
I have been visiting different farms for more than four years now, learning more about self-sufficiency. I am slowly trying to remove any need that keeps me stuck in this cage of mine.
