ABOUT ME

Tim and I (Kallie) have been married for fourteen years and we have a 3 1/2 year old daughter, Malena. We’ve been living and working in Cochabamba, Bolivia since 2013. Before moving overseas we lived in Montreal and are originally from Saskatchewan, Canada. Our travel experience includes lots of backpacking through Western and Eastern Europe, Western Africa and some of Asia. We’ve also traveled North, Central, and South America.

We try to make our home in Bolivia open time-to-time for different people passing through.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We joined CS in 2011 and found that it added an exciting dimension to travel. We also had several people stay with us and enjoyed the cross-cultural experience. Overall, we’ve had the chance to meet a lot of different people, get their take on the place they live, and their perspective on life.

Teach, Learn, Share

We've been all over Bolivia (more than once) and can offer travel tips and recommendations to anyone traveling the country for their first time. We also know Canada really well, which might help if you're planning to head really north after Bolivia. We have family in almost every province.
