Overview
About Me
i am.. um.. interested in philosophy, boring af apparently. I am funny, I mean a few years in England make certainly one's auto-sarcasm sharper. I am interested in everything generally. I am very open minded, i have a crazy love about the arts, especially contemporary art concerning visual arts and literature. I am an overly-social individual who communicates with a lot of people for a lot of different reasons. I love to be challenged intellectually but i also find it amazing to spend the most fun and meaningful moments with people, and experiencing things in the fullest without really thinking about anything. So i have these two very different phases that are usually available constantly for whatever the climate of the company invites.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
well, i just learned about this new way of travelling and i thought it was brilliant. My house has basically been full of couchsurfers anyway, that i met by chance or that were friends of friends. It has, also, been my experience couch surfing in different places not through the official cite, but, just because this seems to be the way of the Greek hospitality.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music is a hard one: because i like a lot of different kinds of music for a lot of different reasons, so i ll pass this one.
Movies i would say Polanski, Hitchcock, 'aguirre the wrath of god' by Herzog, or 'Spring, summer fall winter and again spring'
Books.. just for a general limited idea: literature: Dostoevsky (the demons is my favorite, but, i thing brothers Karamazov is his best one), Kafka, Hunger by Hamsun... there are so many more..
philosophy: I will not get started here.. but the phenomenology of spirit is one of the kind, although, i haven't finished reading it and dont think i ll ever 'finish' it. Foucault the history of sexuality is great. Being and Nothingness by Sartre (nothing seems that impossible after Hegel).
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Hm.. that is a hard one. I guess the most difficult thing i had to do this summer was to leave this amazing island i was camping and 'couch-surfing' in for a month, to understand that the fact that I was so stuck on this island was to run away from my life. So, living through the life of the island and understanding that I just had to stop being on 'vacation' was quite hard and quite amazing in a sense.
Teach, Learn, Share
i am interested in learning everything really, I love philosophy so if you have any relation to it, and can share new stuff about it, that is great. But, physics, art, literature, or anything really would be great for me to learn. Different cultures being maybe the most intriguing thing of all that someone can offer knowledge of.
I can teach some things about philosophy i guess, i know some things about some other fields. I also have valuable knowledge on the locations and names of the most amazing Greek islands, in terms of music, culture, dances, beauty.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I know and love the center of Athens. From the craziest anarchist areas of Athens to the more 'civilized' ones, in which obviously all the appeal of the old and ancient Athens is included. The oldest kind of Greek heavy music up to psych trans parties, these are can all be included in the experience. In a city divided from the old Greek culture to the western one, I am fully interested in exploring everything with everyone.
Further, Greeks are famous for their hospitality, expect amazing food and prepare yourselves to indulge into an overly-socialized community!
