ABOUT ME
I'm a nomadic philosophy student who likes to travel and be fascinated by the wonders of the world. I rarely get bored and will always find something interesting to do. Social relationships are very important to me and there are very few things I enjoy more than listening to someone's story in front of a hot tea or a glass of wine.
PHILOSOPHY
A human being is a part of the whole called by us universe, a part limited in time and space. He experiences himself, his thoughts and feeling as something separated from the rest, a kind of optical delusion of his consciousness. This delusion is a kind of prison for us, restricting us to our personal desires and to affection for a few persons nearest to us. Our task must be to free ourselves from this prison by widening our circle of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature in its beauty. AE
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
During my trip to South America and sporadically also in Europe I was hosted by a lot of incredibly nice people. I try to always leave a place with more than I found when I came.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
All couchsurfing experiences until now have left me with very good memories. It is definitely an awesome community and the people are just wonderful.
Interests
Exploring, Travelling, History, Philosophy, Mountains, Hiking, Books, Motorbikes, Sunsets, Bonfires, Board Games, Adventures,..
I want to work in an NGO in the future, probably something towards Human Rights.
Music, Movies, and Books
I like movies and books that allow a certain degree of introspection.
I loved Sophie's World and being a passionate traveller I've grown up with books like On the Road and Into the Wild.
When it comes to movies one of my favourites is Revolver, but I have enjoyed pretty much any movie from Dumbo to Fight Club. ;)
I'm easily the kind of guy who could stay awake all night watching documentaries just because they are so amazingly interesting!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Once I saw a man touch another man's heart - that was pretty amazing to me.
Teach, Learn, Share
I could definitely improve my cooking skills, and I'd definitely want to learn a couple of sentences in the language of the places I go to.
I can offer some basic guitar lessons and I can teach any of the languages I know or tell you some random facts about the world.
I love long talks! So if you enjoy chatting about stuff you'll definitely enjoy my company.
