I'm from the Sunshine Coast in Queensland, Australia. I grew up in the country where my nearest neighbour was 30-minutes walk away. Never wore shoes until university. Love nature, literature and folklore. And beer and dancing... and traveling and meeting new people... wow there's a lot to love in life.

Currently traveling NZ on bicycle. Cold and wet, but great fun.

When I said I was going to Germany, one of my freinds asked me, "is that in Europe?"
I can't believe someone like me, from the middle of nowhere, no idea how vast the world is, is traveling abroad. God I'm lucky.

If I'm alone in nature for several days, I don't miss my bed, hot food or showers, but I do miss people. Company over comfort. I always love company. Without human connection else nothing matters.

I believe in equal exchange, whenever it's in my power. That includes cooking, cleaning, proofreading your CS profile if English is your second Language, or even day labour if you're renovating. But swapping stories and laughs is my favourite.
