Overview
About Me
I used to be a software developer for a couple of years until I decided that there might be more to life than staring at code for nine hours a day. So, I took the plunge, quit the job (questionable choice), and started exploring the world. Turns out, there's a lot to learn outside a cubicle.
Travel has been my greatest teacher—think budgeting on the fly, squeezing out of comfort zones, and collecting stories you’d never get from a screen. Somewhere along the way, I discovered yoga and meditation. They're part of my life now, though don't expect enlightenment—I’m just here for the peace and quiet.
Recently, I started dabbling in digital marketing and freelancing, finding my way in this wild world one gig at a time. I’m a proud average in most things and have never really aimed for "perfect" (seriously, why stress?). I’m happiest staying curious, staying grounded, and just having fun with whatever I'm up to.
Oh, and if you’re sending a request give a book recommendation! I’m a new reader on the hunt for inspiration,(and also to know whether you read the profile or not)
Also write why that book means something to you.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I’m on Couchsurfing because I love connecting with people who share their unique stories, like those who’ve dedicated their lives to building forests or those who started their travel journeys later in life, like a remarkable woman I met who began exploring the world at 60. I enjoy sharing cultures, cooking local dishes together, and discovering hidden gems in the area. For me, life is all about experiences—both good and bad—and it’s the lessons we take from them that truly enrich our lives. Couchsurfing offers the perfect opportunity to embrace these experiences while building meaningful connections along the way.
Interests
I have a million interests that come and go like trends—one minute I’m convinced I’m going to be a master chef after watching a cooking show, and the next I’m trying yoga and ending up in poses that look more like a pretzel than anything else. It’s like I’m on a constant search for the perfect hobby, leaving behind a mess of half-baked recipes and yoga mats that remind me of my questionable life choices!
- meditation
- classical music
- farming
- treking
- diy projects
Music, Movies, and Books
I’m transitioning from Western to classical music—right now.I guess you could say I'm stuck in a musical identity crisis!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can help clean and organize the house, assist with inventory if my stay is longer, and share my travel experiences.
I can volunteer if you own a farm, hostel, or studio where assistance is needed.
