ABOUT ME

I am friendly in general. I like meeting new people, share a while, trade some stories over a pint/tea.
I enjoy walking/hiking/camping..I cannot swim (yet) but I love the water and managed to get myself drowned once.

PHILOSOPHY

My practising philosophy seems to be "Live for the present"

Couchsurfing is my means to exchange experiences, culture and spend some good time together. It adds a whole new dimension to knowing a place when you compare it to staying in a hotel room.

Music, Movies, and Books

Lots. Would be unjust to just mention those coming to my mind right now..

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

This gold trophy goes to my rafting experience in Rishikesh. It was a 36 km rafting on the Ganga gorge ..there are lots of rapids in the course of the mountainous river (FYI, the average depth of Ganga is about 17m..It's probably deeper there)..It was amazing because as we 'fought' the waters to keep the raft from flipping, it struck me then that this is no joyride in an amusement park. Every moment was crucial as any moment could be my last. Being on the raft was immense fun but being so close to nature in a live-or-die situation was what made the experience so real and meaningful to me. (Perhaps I should mention here that I did not know how to swim and almost got drowned that time. Story for another time.)
