I am curious and enjoy this amazing planet we live on. I find it exciting to meet new people and getting to know different cultures. I am usually quite mellow. I don't always need to talk, although some bring out a chatty side of me. I really enjoy good and interesting conversations I love hearing about other people's stories and their way of living

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

So I was watching a documentary on german TV and they were talking about couchsurfing, since then the idea of meeting new people through this unusual way has really intrigued me and I am curious to see how it may work out. So I signed up!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So I have had quite a few positive experiences hosting fellow surfers and I loved it! The couch surfing culture in Europe definitely surprised me, much more open than the U.S.

Interests

Music, Movies, and Books

I am interested in movies that either make you think or laugh or dream, not so much scare you to death.
I like a lot of different kinds of music, it depends on my mood which I would listen to. Anything from pop to rock, from techno to baroque. I also like to dance, recently started with salsa lessons.
Reading I have not done quite that much, just read Girl with dragon tattoo, like Stig Larson's life story, charismatic and correct personality

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I bought a tickets to Australia for me, my son and my sis and just flew there, we toured through the northern part of Queensland, sleeping in the car or beach, was great.
I think big change in my life was getting married and moving to the United states, living live as a military member and now back in the real world.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am a nurse and work in an ICU, my specialty is neurology and neurosurgery. Psychoneuroimmunology is a special interest of mine and can be wondurfully connected with the practice of Aromatherapy.
I am very interested in natural healing practices as they become more accepted by the allopathic medicine.
I am a pretty good cook and I like to bake.
Since I grew up on a farm, I am quite in tune with farm life and growing things in my own garden.
Fresh vegetables from the garden are the best!
People I worked with in upstate NY called me the discovery channel!
