I'm 24 years old and I study Linguistics (English and German) and Spanish in Gdańsk. Besides that, I'm an English teacher - I teach children and adults. I really like my job, but my biggest dream is to become football journalist, and, as I am quite ambitious, I know that one day it'll come true! :-) I'm a scout - Guirl Guide - working in ‘Lesna Szkolka’ organization (http://lesnaszkolka.org; see also my photos - there is a photo of in the Scout uniform).

I'm an active and outgoing person, and like socialising out with friends. I like travelling, but I work throughout the year, so, to be honest, I don't usually have so many opportunities to travel during the year, only in holidays months.

I'm quite fond of animals and I'm vegetarian. I've got a mongrel dog, called Rubin (meaning "ruby in English).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'd like to meet some people, here in Gdansk, and show them interesting and inspiring things in 3city. I'm a really caring person so you come to no harm with me! I'd also like to broaden my experience with Couchsurfing and find some friendly hosts abroad.

Interests

I'm totally crazy about football (it's not soccer! ;-)). My favourite team is FC Barcelona, but I'm generally interested in Spanish League.

I love learning languages. I speak English fluently, German almost fluently and now I'm studying Spanish. I have some French basics. In the future I'd also like to learn Catalan and Italian. One day, I'd like to become a polyglot :-)

I'm mad about reading. I acctually stopped reading in Polish because I guess that that's a sort of waste of time. Now, I'm reading Terry Pratchett's "Equal Rites". I have also a huuuuge fondness for Harry Potter series. That's the series of my childhood and I'll always be quite attached to it, however silly it may sound ;-)
