Married on the best woman in the world. We together quit corporate job, started to train for ironman, completed it in 2017 in Kalmar, Sweden. And now traveling around with the world 🌍 to find the best experience, people and places.
Off course we can not live without sports any more, so while traveling we manage to train running and sometimes biking.
So far we have lived in Asia for 8 months.
Now just arrived to Denver, Colorado for another BIG THING.
We brought our racing bikes from ironman, put a small rear rack, bought a tent ⛺️ and sleeping bags and moving on 6000km+ custom route via US national parks and even British Columbia in Canada.
We start from Lyons, CO on June 22nd and moving by Trans America Bike Route to Yellowstone.

We plan to also visit Seattle, Vancouver, Portland, Sierras, Yosemite, maybe even Zion, Grand Canyon and other cool places.
We will navigate based on Adventure Cycling routes, combining different sections to make our own loop starting and finishing in Colorado.
While doing this we aim to train for a fast marathon. The date is fixed - it is Chicago Marathon on June 7th 2018.
We can not miss it and we can not be not prepared.

Haha. It is the best way of travel! We have time, not in hurry really so we give our time to people in exchange of their time. Is not it good???
We did a lot of CS in Japan, that was amazing! We did not understand Japanese culture to be true with you but we were close! Sleeping on floor mats (futons) in little 16 sq m condos, cycling with locals in Kyoto, riding Alfa Romeo (!) with Ukrainian songs (!), cycling Onomichi, living with traditional japanese family in a house with tatami in Okinawa...
Can you experience and understand culture that deep just living in a hotel for a week? NO.

So this is why while having a tent and bikes in the US and Canada we want to meet locals! You are the best!!!

We love to cook - Maria is a god of sweets! In Asia we cooked a lot of russian pancakes for our hosts and once even real borsch soup in TAIWAN! That was amazing!
Outdoor sports - well after a month in Nepal now we love it from a different perspective. Not only triathlon and all that crazy staff but proper outdoor - we bought our first hiking boots for Nepal and now we bought a tent. Yes, we are serious.
Even though we couched a couple of friends in swimming pool - so if you ever wanted to improve your swimming technique- you are welcome!
We also love to volunteer if we have passion, time and lovely people :) in Vietnam Masha was organizing accounting and financials and I painted, built sunbeds for coffee and practiced coffee roasting and brewing.
Now I always have a hand-grinder and aeropress with me - yes i bring it for a bike touring in the US and Canada as well, so you might try my delicious coffee. So volunteering is big yes!
