Hey, my name is Katharina, 32 years ols, at the moment longtime traveler for nearly 2 years. I took some time off my job as a medical doctor (which i love!!!) in order to travel. So i have been traveling south america, europe by foot and bike, central asia...
i like traveling, reading and wirting, listening to music and making music, going to theater and playing theater.
At the moment i don't have a house where i could host people, but i am looking forward to have a nice home with place for guests as soon as i settle down again.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I was deeply impressed by the hospitality that i experienced while traveling, especially in iran, kirgistan...where people invited me to stay in their house, for sleeping or eating. These nights in local peolpes houses, the chats with them, sharing their food - that was always my highlight when traveling. And everytime when coming back home from traveling i think: i want to be more like those people, i want to host other travelers, want to make their traveling extraordinary....
...and i think couchsurfing is a good platform for this plan!
