I left my homeland to see the world. So far I'm in New Zealand on WHS and I'll see where the wind blows me next. Australia and Japan sound really tempting... I'd like to travel around the world at some point, however some inner part of me is a bit scared of doing so. I think the desire is stronger so I'll eventually do it. So far I'm collecting bits and pieces to my list of places to visit and trying to save some money for that :) ...

Currently I'm based in Wellington and I'd love to show this amazing city to my fellow travelers.

I think I'm easygoing, maybe a bit shy in the beginnings and definitely keen to hear your travel stories and share mine. Preferably over a pint of beer as I really love it as much as a Czech person can.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

When traveling it's always great to meet the locals so you can learn more about the places you visit than what the tourist books tell you. And I've heard that CS is quite a handy place for that! Unfortunately I can't host at the moment, hopefully that changes over the time... :)

Music, Movies, and Books

I love fantasy as far as it goes. One of my favorite movies of all times is Sleepy Hollow, followed by the Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings and Hobbit series. It doesn't mean I don't watch / read anything else. I love The Matrix, well, just the first one, the other two not that much. Sometimes I'm up to something really twisted. Let Your Highness to be the perfect example for them all...

I love The Song of Ice and Fire series, better known as Game of Thrones. Yep, I've read the books (ok I saw the first TV series first, but then I read them all) and I don't really like where the TV series is going.

I'm also quite interested in Japanese anime series and movies although I haven't seem many of them as of yet.

I also like video games, although nowadays I play them only occasionally. My favorite ones are Gothic (2001), Might and Magic VI (1996) and Heroes of Might and Magic III (1999). Yeah and Skyrim (2011) is quite epic as well. FUS DO RAH!!!

I don't have any solid preference for music. I think I can listen to almost anything. At the moment my playlist contains track from Of Monsters and Men, Bastille, Aurora, Coldplay, Jess Glynne, The Killers, Skinny Lister, The Vaccines, Kodaline, etc ...
