About Me

CURRENT MISSION

discover Narnia in my closet

ABOUT ME

What I'd write about myself a year ago, probably isn't true anymore. I'm constantly changing and evolving - hopefully for the better. Basically, it's hard to make me angry and easy to make me love you to pieces.

I live in Gdansk and adore it. I'd be happy to host anyone who wants to take on the Tricity experience.

PHILOSOPHY

I'm naive enough to go by "Everyone should be happy". Honestly, I want to go through life not hurting anyone, while taking as much as I can from what it's got to offer.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've only been hosted one time, but what a great time and what a fantastic host it was! Following the good example I've been given, I'd love to offer my couch, my guidance and companionship if desired.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

With the help of CS I've visited Rome for three days - three days in which I've seen, felt and tasted more than I'd ever imagined.

Interests

reading (novels, memoirs, guides - honestly I'm an addict), films (especially European cinema and Hollywood Golden Era), cycling, partying (I do not shy away from a good time ;) ), nature, spirituality, theatre, card games, being goofy with friends and onomatology (the study of names - I'm an oddball...)

Music, Movies, and Books

movies - anything Elia Kazan, Kubrick, Bergman, Visconti, Kusturica, Polanski, but also light films - I just like the cinema.
music - it's hard to define my music taste, because I can listen to Franz Ferdinand one day, M.I.A. the next one, have Lady Gaga for breakfast, Beach Boys for lunch and Manowar for dinner
books - I've lived for the classics like Balzac (trying to read all Human Comedy for a year now), Tolstoy and Mann, only recently discovered Atwood, Zafon, Lessing and Pamuk, but my favourite constantly re-read book has to be "One hundred years of solitude" - nuff said :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Well... I can make the Michael Jackson head move :)
