Overview
About Me
I am Polish girl living in Warsaw. I work in PR agency, who is dedicated to constant development of her communication skills. Besides that, I am a person with a wide range of interests & always looks for inspiration. I spend hours in secondhand bookshops and on the flea markets. I do a photography: I make mind-maps (digital camera) and paint my visions (analog camera). I wrote three volumes of poetry. I worked for two years as a librarian in academic library, I was also a cultural journalist and theater reviewer.
Two years ago I made my greatest dream come true - I lived in France for an erasmus exchange. As an incurable francophil since ten years, I was just inexpressibly happy to be in France. Now I started to plan my next big dream: gap year!

Music, Movies, and Books
Films: short films, anime, animations, french cinema, old and b&w cinema, biographies or atypical documents like 'Samsara' or 'Life in a day'. My favourite directors: Jan Švankmajer, Jean-Pierre Jeunet, Julian Józef Antonisz, Krzysztof Kieślowski and Piotr Dumała.
Music: jazz (especially during the autumn and winter with a glass of whisky), icelandic music (when I want to chill out), polish alternative music (when I need energy) and chanson française (when I fall in melancholical-romantic mood).
Books: poetry, historical romance and whatever I find interesting. I like especially: L. M. Montgomery, A. A. Milne, J. Austen, E.-E. Schmitt, J. Gaarder, T. Śliwiak, S. Kierkegaard, M. Białoszewski, H. Poświatowska, A. Dumas, W. Szymborska, O. Tokarczuk, T. Przerwa-Tetmajer, A. Asnyk, A. Puszkin, H. Murakami, A. Słonimski
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
From my personal experience: getting the information about my >lost after the IIWW< great-grandmother and contributing to family reunion of my grandfather and his sister. From my friend's point of view: The 365 photo project in which I captured day by day one year of my life.
Teach, Learn, Share
As for now: I would love to to share my knowledge and learn more about the history and culture of different countries.
What I Can Share with Hosts

+ I'd be happy to help my hosts with practicing english or learning polish.
+ That would be great if my hosts and I could cook together - in Poland we say: "Through the stomach to the heart".
