About Me
Hello there :D
I’m Kamil, I'm from... Well it's not so clear. You see I have two nationalities and its because I have mixed parents :D - one polish one Syrian (nice combination, right?). And I would really like to tell you the lovely story on how they met but unfortunally it’s not their profile but mine. So back to me :D Im often described by people as an outgoing spontaneous person with ADHD. I like to improvise, try new things and see how the course of events will pan out. I also like to meet new people, learn from them and teach them whenever there is a possibility. I always have in mind my father words: “Son, when you teach others you teach yourself” and I try to practice it whenever I can.
I also believe that every soul we meet can teach us something, even the little things, which may seem not important to someone, but not to me :D and I’m ready to engulf that knowledge. That’s I think the main reason which motivates me to travel. About that, my travelling story begins something like 2 years ago when I met that girl, a girl which is now close to my heart and a girl which has grafted in me a love to travel. We met at the dormitory and after couple minutes of chatting she purposed to go on a trip to France - Unordinary proposal but she is not usual in any way :D. Since then I have visited many countries. I have also started to hitchhike. I’m still an amateur at this but I have something like 1000 km on my counter (not just in Poland where I currently live) I’ve met a lot of people, various people with different nationalities and at different ages and I’m looking forward to meet more and more, That’s why I’m here I think :D
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To learn from others, to meet new people, to fully experience life, to feel free, to express what can not be told. To prove, that we as humans in our differences, in language, culture, religion and history are one species. To discover mysteries about life and mostly about myself.
Interests
As certainly everybody here I love travelling. I’m addicted to it. And, like with every addiction when You take a dose of it, it only makes you want more. Travelling is my passion and my obsession. I can not stay long at the same place. However I cherish long term relationship with people I meet. Lately I like to hitchhike :D in addition to that’s the cheapest way of transport, there is much more benefits. Starting from adrenaline you feel about uncertainty of your goal ending on how wonderful people you can meet, and how much You can learn from them. Once I have hitchhiked with a person whose child is sick with a diabetes. He told me that he bought an airdale terrier and he is training him to sense low level of sugar. I have never imagined that dogs can do that :o
I also love to skate :D I skate on rollerblades. I have started a year ago and it’s my second best way of moving around. I’m getting better and better at it and I want to master freestyle skating. My perfect way of travelling is to hitchhike somewhere with a rollers in my backpack and skate there. Never tried it before but I will for sure :D

Music, Movies, and Books
I listen to various music. I don't focus on one kind of it but I'm opened for everything new. Nevertheless I might favor some polish artists like "coma" . It's polish rock band established in 1998. I think it's because i grow up on that kind of music.
About books, I read mostly polish i have tried to read some english but the only one i finished is i think Paulo Cohelo the alchemist.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One time I had bet with my friend for about 2 euros that I will go naked ( in boxers) 8 kilometers in winter. It was like 8 degrees below zero (I was young and stupid, now I would take more :p) I won of course but was sick for a week. However on the road I had nice gestures from girls who wanted to warm me :D I even got a recipe to make mulled wine :D
Teach, Learn, Share
I speak 3 languages very well and a lot on basics. I have tendency to learn it and i can teach some of basics. Like i said, I skate, and I can help with it if somebody would like to learn it ;)
What I Can Share with Hosts
I have lived in two different cultures for a long time, where I have learned a lot about customs and traditions. And I gained let's say a comparison point. I can share a lot of my reflection about it. I can also share my travel tales ( there are alot of it) and what's most important orginal polish vodka :D
