ABOUT ME
Hi, I'm the owner of a small English school in Nagoya. I'm married and have a 3-yr-old boy. So, I prefer CSers who like children. Also, I like CSers who are independent since I'm too busy to show people around these days. I'd love to, but just work too much. Also, my wife isn't interested in CS but I am. And if we aren't too busy with work, we'll take you out and show you around our neighborhood.
PHILOSOPHY
Wake up happy. Go to bed drunk (with life). Work hard in between. Create my own happiness. And share with others.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I used to be the Nagoya Ambassador of CS back in the day. I was single, I hosted many others. I took a 6 1/2-year break from CouchSurfing but am starting up again.
I'm hoping to meet people through CS. I think world travelers are cool & I like to hear about their experiences.

Francesco & Sylvia of Tuscon, Arizona, Dec 07, 6 days: we hung out and drank with the finest CSers in Nagoya. I was rewarded with the perfect CSers
Sean of Baltimore, Jan 08, 3 days: played guitars and talked tattooes and Japan; an interesting and polite guy

Irene of Holland, July 14, 1 day: she helped out my students, young & old, and was super polite even though she was knackered from climbing Mt Fuji; a real sweetheart.

Have you read "The Places in Between" or "Into the Wild"?
I think the Rolling Stones are prophets, not a rock band.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Meeting my half-brother for the first time in 28 years; sitting in the glass sea of Boracay; moving a million miles from home; walking across Manila one summer day; riding on top of a jeepney through the Philippine jungle; falling in love on a strange continent; singing live in front of more than 100 people in a strange country; a ghost in Japan (and I don't even believe in them)
Teach, Learn, Share
I like people from many countries. I want to learn your language, culture, how you look at life. I hope you are also eager to learn, eager to live life to the fullest.
