About Me

I'm an adventurous person who never likes to keep doing one thing for too long. I read a lot, I have traveled a fair bit in the past and I love to meet new people from all walks of life and different cultures.

I love my career in the Oil & Gas industry and am actively involved in the SPE (Society of Petroleum Engineers)

Facebook can be a bit of an addiction when I'm bored but a lot of useful (and a lot of useless) information gets shared on there so the latest news and happenings tend to hit there first

Music, Movies, and Books

Been hooked on techno, trance, EDM (whatever else it's called now) since I first heard the theme song from the Mortal Kombat movie....later in my teen years, went onto discover AliceDJ, Ian van Dahl, Scooter and now Armin van Buuren (ASOT!!!), Markus Schulz, Ferry Corsten, Dash Berlin amongst many many many more! I'd love to exchange collections with you.

Books: Lord of the Rings universe! Most stuff written by Isaac Asimov (the Gods themselves is amazing), To Kill a Mockingbird, Harry Potter (though it borrows heavily from Lord of the Rings), Super Freakonomics

Movies: Lord of the Rings again!!! Anything directed by Christopher Nolan (Batman, Inception, Interstellar!) Godfather Trilogy, Anything directed by Guy Ritchie or that style of story telling

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've loved and lost....and lived to tell the tale...

Teach, Learn, Share

I commonly refer to myself as a repository of otherwise useless knowledge, I can share a lot of facts and perspectives that I've picked up over the years from my reading and interactions with people. I spend a lot of time recognizing and analyzing trends in both work and recreation.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can make the occasional steak with mushrooms and red wine reduction sauce....meat and potatoes haha
