I'm 28-years, currently living and working Helsinki. I share a house in a city next to Helsinki with my husband and another family with a dog and a kid. Due to the location of our home (in the forest 30km from Helsinki center) and the occasionally-hectic lifestyle of freelancers, plus the flatmates with a kid and a dog it is not always possible for us to accommodate guests - but do ask if you are interested in a more remote housing experience, we will tell you if it is possible!

But if you want meet up with a cup of coffee and get some good tips on what to see and visit in Helsinki, we are happy to help! I generally can give you good tips about performance, dance, theater and music events and tips for some interesting places to visit - if you like e.g. forests, lakes or old buildings.

I love travelling and I used to use CS a lot more a couple of years ago. I feel CS is a fantastic opportunity to meet local people when travelling and to get to know new places and spaces and cultures - learning and listening are the reasons I want to, like to and need to travel. Travelling makes us more open and teaches us to understand and trust other people - something which is more and more important at this moment and atmosphere we are living in.

I have been out of CS and less active for some years now (busy with life and living in flats with no couches) But now I decided it might be a time to update my profile and see what happens!

Interessen

More things interests me than don't, and I am ready to learn about everything. But of course I love art, especially performance, photography, cinema, I love dancing, bicycling, yoga, I definitely do love animals, especially cats very much. I love spending time in the nature, trekking, camping etc.; forests and lakes are the scenery I was born into. I love studying politics, economy and philosophy. Most of my "amours" are stuff I work with also, but I might say cooking is a hobby that has not yet turned into a profession. Our household is mostly vegetarian / vegan and one of my passions is to cook delicious vegan food without anyone noticing it is vegan.

I can share tips on stuff that is happening in Helsinki and interests me.
Generally if we are interested in similar kind of activites I will do my best to share all the knowledge I have about my home city!
Otherwise, it all depends... It is hard to write beforehand here what might be the thing I might be able to teach or learn!

I believe the best way to see what I can share with another person is to meet this person in that time and situation -so it is hard to say in general! But I might dare to promise some good conversation. And I really do love cooking.
