About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Fundraising for my documentary film project

ABOUT ME

I'm a passionate and active person who likes to get involved with fun and smart events and inspire others and get inspired by others.
Currently I'm in Sweden to do my Masters and find out what I want to work with in the Future. Besides I teach an amazing dance technique called Nia in Lund and in Malmö.
There is a huge project I'm involved with right now, and that started in Bali last year. We are making a documentary film about social issues and I'm happy to say that many Couchsurfer friends helped this project to become what it is today. So my dream is to be able to finish this film and continue and combine it with my studies.
I like to have an impact in the places I'm living, right now we're preparing for how the city of Lund could join the global movement called OneBillionRising to raise awareness about violence against women through a public event (flashmob).

When I have time, I try to get away from the computer and travel- within or out., I learn how to cook and connect with other people who have similar interests and dedication for things in life.

PHILOSOPHY

Life-long learning will keep you open and established. Opennes starts when you listen to and curious about the world around you. To get closer to others have trust and positive thinking, put aside prejudice and judgement. Smile and dance through life, searching for joy.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have some remarkable experience through CS. It makes the traveller's life so easy and adventurous. i planned to visit a small village in northern laos on my trip around SE-Asia. What are the chances that i find someone in this town through CS? not much. but apparently a girl who turns out to be from almost my neighbouring country back in Europe, is living there and involved with projects i am highly interested in. CS is much more than finding a place to stay overnight.
Finally, after several months, i joined CS Bali..and I met wonderful people and participated some remarkable events. I plan to share more, use the energies I found in this community and go with the flow :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have hosted Enrico from Argentina.he was like my brother :)
We surfed in Paris with Florie and in Berlin with Stefanie, for few nights, great girls. In Copenhagen Justinas hosted me, he become one of the most special friends of mine.
In Bali, I hosted Chritian from US, great sailor man, good spirit. After that, I met a real ambassador of CS, and lived with her, and that was the best choice I could make! I started showing up in CS events. The first one was a trance ceremony in Kesiman village, in Denpasar, where I saw the first cockfight and we could immerse ourselves in balinese spiritual life and customs. And some parties...some cooking...swimming etc..fun fun fun. I went to the friday rendez-vous to Taman Bamboo in Bali and met some amazing people there, we went out partying as well which was really fun.
I see more opportunities in this global and local CS community, than I actually took before. I wish to dedicate myself more actively into participation.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love traditional sounds and rhythms, that can be from reggae to folk songs of transylvania that my grandpa has been singing a lot:). I like oldies like Otis Reding, it brings me into a very good mood, kinda happy and lose. When I dance the music is loud and tempting, Bad Marsch or Thievery Corporation, powerful like african drums as heartbeats. One of the best concerts I've been was Röyksopp, Manu Chao in hungarian summer festivals.
The books i am recently reading are about Africa as I am very much curious about developing countries. I am reading the Shadow of the sun from the polish journalist Ryszard Kapuściński, or the Bottom Billion from Paul Collier. I highly recommend you all.. The next one will be the autobiography of Nelson Mandela.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

transylvanian bread is one of the best
albanian people are one of the frendliest
Provence's small town called Roussillion has the coolest ochre-yellow hills and levande-fields
Brighton's clown took us hitch-hikers there from London
I was paragliding tandem in India, tracking in the himalaya, learnt about buddhism from tibetan monks and people..
hungarian grey-neats with stockman in a warm summer afternoon
travelling on top of trucks somewhere in East Java, under the starry sky
climbing in sunrise and reaching to the top of Semeru mountain on 3676m with many many great friends
being silent for almost 10 days in a buddhist monastery
