About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Live life to the fullest and to make as many friends as possible.
ABOUT ME
I'm about 2 years out of college and living the dream in Newport Beach sharing a house a block away from the beach and a short distance to the nightlife with 2 of my close friends. I am usually off of work by 3 or 4 and still have a huge chuck of my day to explore. I'm really into doing anything active and always down for an adventure. I'm the type of person that will try everything once and believe that life is for LIVING. My most recent traveling experience was in Costa Rica with 5 of my close friends. We spent 10 days there and I know that I will be going back many times in my life.
My favorite things to do are meeting new people, surfing, biking, hiking, and just about anything outdoors. It doesn't take much for me to have a good time. I constantly try to push myself outside of my comfort level because I feel that is the place where people truly grow.
I try to go through life with an open mind and optimistic attitude.
PHILOSOPHY
Life is 10% what happens to me and 90% how I react to it. I believe that the key to a happy life is a short memory and a positive attitude.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I spread the message encouraging others to enjoy and explore all the amazing opportunities CS has to offer. I also give tips and advice to CSers about finding places in Santa Barbara and staying in California. I have hosted a few times at my previous residence in Huntington Beach. I plan to host a lot more at my place in Newport Beach
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
In 2008 I was between jobs and I moved to Santa Barbara looking for a place of my own. On a couple of weeks notice I surfed at my friends house until I was able to lock down my own place. I stayed about 2 weeks until my lease started.
I couch surfed at 3 different friends' places in California for over 2 weeks while I was on break from school.
My biggest CS experience was when I went to the Boston and New York. That really made my entire trip and I will probably only travel that way from here on out.
Interests
I'm interested in everything involving people and anything active. I will try almost anything once. I enjoy challenging myself and find motivation in others.
