Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

One day in december 2008, in Montreal, I felt the desire to meet new people and discover a new place in Canada. When I was in Montreal since 2weeks, and I was sad to didn´t meet any native Quebecker...( to much french!!)
And I remember of this mysterious sofa system...I tried Quebec city and I have been convinced to do it again!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

In Quebec with a friend just for one night, I think the first experience it's always unbelievable. because it's just unimaginable to can sleep in a beautiful house (in a private bed), in a amazing spot, where live a nice host (that you didn't know yesterday) who just give you his key and share his trip memories.
Second time was in buenos Aires : finally I found the address, and one second after met Arash, I have been drag in his plans : go to play chess in a park with other couchsurfer. Then he really gave me a lot : first his room, then a job, jokes, crazies hamburgers, good parties, and he also foundback my itouch (after a crazy and mysterious investigation!).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

to shave off my hair, left from home during 11month, touch a patagonian glacier from a sailboat, climb up a cliff, walk 580km, hitchhike in the north of Scotland alone in the tempest, slept in the street during the night, catch one hundred babies turtles, ride a horse with a gaucho during, caress a roussette (small shark),...
5hours, explore catacombs with friend in Paris, lost myself with (my monitor too) during a dive because of a strong stream, and been caught by a fisher, watch the sun rising up from my tent, swim in a frozen lake after a sauna in Finland....
